History of Snoquip
The West's Premiere Snow Removal Equipment Supplier and Manufacturer
Snoquip was founded in 1983 by Bill Campbell. His first lines were Blanchet snow blowers and Campbell Chain. By 1986 the business had grown enough to add Michael Campbell and Ann Campbell. Diamond and Meyers truck plows were then added to the mix. With The addition of a municipal tractor line in 1988 Snoquip was poised to change the way snow removal was done in the Sierras. Contractors transitioned away from loader bucket-based snow removal to the efficiency and low impact of municipal tractors with blowers. In 2003 Snoquip added their own brand of snow blower to the package specifically designed for the Sierras unique conditions, and later took on the Holder line of tractors to bring out the full potential of their Snoquip blowers. By 2005 Snoquip had added in the Larue brand of self-propelled and loader mounted blowers to allow customer to take on the biggest jobs with the most advanced equipment on the market. Today with 12 full time employees Snoquip has firmly established itself as a leader and innovator in snow removal products for the West and across North America.
